Doghri is a the latest luxury unit by Meena Bagh suitable for discerning couples. It is very close to the old Meena Bagh Bungalow. It has two independent rooms with a common living/diving area. The rooms have their own Himachali sit out area in the verandah called Daafi. It can accommodate two couples or a small family of six.
The bathrooms are heated, has brass fittings, a standalone bathtub with a mountain view.
Doghri has a traditional Pahari slate roof with skylights. The rooms are wooden and insulated. The rooms have a mountain view but also a 65inch smart TV for distractions.
The cottage is made completely from recycled wood sourced from an old British building which served as a girl’s college in Shimla unit recently.
For this reason we offer upto 30% discount for all female travellers. As with all Meena Bagh properties, discounts also applicable to people doing conservation work and to writers and artists.
